- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (1 prefer vanilla)
- 2 cups water
- pinch of salt
- 6 Tablespoons Chocolate Almond Butter (I use Trader Joe’s Cocoa Almond Spread)
- 6 Tablespoons sliced almonds
- Additional almond milk to drizzle if needed
I make my oatmeal in an Instant Pot, but you can also make it on the stove top.
Add oats, almond milk, water and pinch of salt to to your Instant Pot. Set to Porridge.
Alternately, add oats, almond milk, water and pinch of salt to a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer on low for 25-30 minutes stirring occasionally.
Mix in the almond butter.
Divide into 6 servings. Top each serving with 1 Tablespoon of sliced almonds.
Drizzle with almond milk if needed.
