I received my BS in human biology at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1998. During that time, I developed a passion for nutrition, and went on to complete a second BS degree in nutrition at Arizona State University in 2002. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings such as fitness, corporate wellness, long term care, acute care, and dialysis. My model of care emphasizes overall wellness and prevention. I also plan to pursue a certification in functional nutrition, which focuses on how to use food for medicine.
I am married and have 2 children and 2 dogs. I have a lifelong love of sports and physical activity. In my free time I like to kayak, camp, bike, run, hike, and kickbox.
